It is a game-based coding competition on CodeVenture. Contestants think, plan and write commands to guide Codi through each mission, earning as many points as possible in 15 minutes.
Saturday, 14 November 2026, 11:00–17:00, at the Learning Exchange (LX) Building, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). See the schedule on this page for activity times.
Children aged 5–15 can enter an eligible division: Icon Coding for ages 5–7, Block Coding for ages 6–10, and Text Coding for ages 8–15. Children eligible for multiple divisions may enter more than one.
It is an individual competition. Each contestant competes on their own and may enter more than one division at the event.
The scored round lasts 15 minutes. Before it starts, contestants have approximately 15–20 minutes to practise and get familiar with their devices.
The School of Information Technology provides computers for the competition, and contestants may bring their own device. Those who wish to use an iPad are kindly requested to bring their own.
Tablets should have a dual-core processor, at least 4 GB of RAM and WebGL support. Use a 7th-generation iPad or newer. Laptops should have an Intel dual-core processor or equivalent and at least 4 GB of RAM. Recommended browsers are Chrome, Edge and Safari.
Icon Coding requires no prior experience. Block Coding suits children with coding experience or familiarity with Scratch. Text Coding suits children who can program and are comfortable using a keyboard.
Registration costs the same for every division: THB 900 until the end of 18 October 2026, then THB 1,200 from 19 October until registration closes. Every contestant receives a certificate. Medals are awarded for reaching score thresholds, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division receive trophies.
